Compile and Install OpenFOAM-v3.0+ on Ubuntu16.04 LTS -- hardcoded check on flex version number
When compiling OF3+ on the latest Ubuntu, it throws an error when compiling solidDisplacementFoam:
...platforms/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/lib/libtriSurface.so: undefined reference to `yyFlexLexer::yywrap()'

It does solve the issue for me though.
