Mixing planes in future openFOAM releases

Mixing planes at MRF interfaces

Dear developers, I'd like to know if there are plans about introducing mixing planes in future releases of openFOAM. At least for for people working with turbomachines, this lack is a crucial limit. This feature will highly benefit all those who are generally dealing with MRF steady-state RANS simulations.

As mixing planes are already available in the community-driven fork FOAM-extend, that implementation could be probably used as starting point for an introduction of this feature in the official version.
