block face orientation checks don't consider the curved edges

Hello,

The extra check introduced by commit 3aa78f2b treats the block in the same way as cellShape. I reported before to the foundation fork, here. A more robust check with an option to disabled it has been introduced by this commit.

I understand that both forks are not the same and you do not merge everything to keep the backward compatibility as possible. But I think this is a critical issue and I hope you consider it.
