OpenFOAM not available in RHEL9

Functionality to add/problem to solve

It seems that the Packages (e.g. openfoam2212) are not available for RHEL9. The Folder at the following link has not the same content as the folder for RHEL8: https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/openfoam/openfoam/epel-9-x86_64/

Proposal

Please release the content for RHEL9 systems in the repository.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

The problem is that they've pulled scotch from EPEL9.

This really feels like a major step backwards. The beauty of the precompiled packages is supposed to be the reuse of existing system components. Without scotch though, it doesn't make much sense to build OpenFOAM. So we either wait for this to be reinstated, go off and start creating new packaging to pull down the ThirdParty pack too and install our own compilation of scotch, or just give up on RedHat.

You should probably add your comment to the bugzilla report as well. Perhaps asking for a status update. Since others also seem to wish for scotch, I'd really prefer not creating some separate purpose build just for RH9.

Nothing changed - there still isn't a scotch package for the new RedHat. So we either need to include ThirdParty code to build scotch/pt-scotch for OpenFOAM as well, or simply drop future support for RedHat.
