Separate build directory

During recent discussions there was some interest expressed in a binary only distribution. This currently mostly possible by distributing bin/, etc/, platforms/ only. This of course loses that ability to have dynamic code, but can nonetheless be useful. To make the distributed package smaller, need to manually strip out the dependencies and intermediate build targets. Propose to split of these intermediates into a separate build/ directory as per third party.

@mark I'm a bit confused about the need to rely on a separate build folder, although I can see the advantage of having a single explicit folder to delete...

Anyway, in the current structure, you only need to strip out or skip the folders platforms/$WM_OPTIONS/{applications,src} and platforms/$WM_OPTIONS$WM_MPLIB and it's ready to go!

Hi Bruno @wyldckat , as you rightly noted, the change is indeed a relatively minor one to the wmake system, but could have advantages for a binary-only installation (eg, via rsync or tar files). Will need to discuss some more...
