CFMESH executables missing in OF2406

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 - Downloaded and installed openfoam 2406 sudo apt-get install openfoam2406-default I noticed that CFMESH executables are missing.

sorry it took so long (various other reasons). I've located where/why cfmesh wasn't being packaged and am now currently rebuilding the 2406 binaries. Thanks for catching this!

Hi what is the status on this, also missing CFMesh on my end.

By default we build "modules" and not "plugins", since these may be in various stages of disrepair, however it seems reasonable enough (to me at least) to continue with cfmesh binaries until it gets too weird.

• now found that the debian/rules and rpm spec files needed an extra update to accommodate for this
• in inadvertent bug in how we were prepping the source files for building. The prefetch stage passed on the plugin info, but missed out on an git update before doing so (meaning that the sources were not being found).

summary:

• rebuilding now. Hope to have everything sorted by begin/middle of next week (still holiday times here).

CFMESH not available in 2412 as well.

I think I finally have it! Looks like using the internal -no-recursion option (Allwmake parsing) does not sit well with dash and need to use bash. This would explain why other Linux versions built without a problem.

Thats good news! Will there be an update or is there a workflow to getting it to work on Ubuntu?
