support specified time for transformPoints

Functionality to add/problem to solve

transformPoints reads time from points instance. But it might be nice to operate on given time.

Proposal

As discussed with @mark Use given time or default to constant

As default, follows the current behaviour of defaulting to the last time found that had "points". Can specify -time 0 or -time constant instead (if desired).
