          Sometimes the 'wmake ' spawned by anything 'coded' can keep on trying to build the dependency files. This is usually due to time-stamps in the future. Maybe we could

          • no watched files (e.g. dictionary with READ_IF_MODIFIED) are present with future times
          • check that time on all slaves is same(ish)
          • or even touch a file and check for fileModificationSkew? Or maybe we can do this in a functionObject ...
