turbulentDFSEMInlet hanging at first pimple iteration

I installed OF 1606 and tried to use the turbulentDFSEMInlet BC. But when I applied it in my case, it runs up to first pimple iteration and doesn't go any further, but without throwing any error message. This issue happened on both serial and parallel computation, please find the attached log file: log.pimpleFoamParallel log.pimpleFoamSerial

I searched online, some people have had the same issue with me: https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-solving/177711-turbulentdfseminlet.html

Although some of them can successfully run on serial mode rather than parallel, my case couldn't work on both modes. I have noticed in the same link that Alex suggested splitting the patch containing this BC. I did so in my parallel case (figure attached), but it didn't solve the problem. Geometry

This BC runs well in the tutorial case channel395DFSEM suggesting I should have installed the application correctly. So I think it may be a bug and attached my BC files for your investigation:

0 directory: nut p U

boundaryData directory: points U

fvSchemes and fvSolution files are the same as the ones in channel395DFSEM tutorial. The case used Smagorinsky SGS model with vanDriest damping function.

Kind regards,

Yeru
