The original thermoSurfaceFilm sub-models were divided between kinematicSurfaceFilm and thermoSurfaceFilm in order to use the surfaceFilm model in a kinematicCloud. The film interaction models are now in a kinematicSurface class which can be used in a kinematic cloud adding constant thermal properties (p and T) for some sub-models, e.g. drySplashInteraction/wetSplashInteraction. pRef and Tref were added to the kinematicSurfaceFilm as entry to the regionFilm when used with a kinematic cloud. In the finite area surface film model Tref, pRef are stored in filmSubModelBase. TUT: kinematicParcelFoam: new tutorial pitzDailySprinkles

The templates include a stategy to simplify meshing with snappyHexMesh, particularly to help generate an initial mesh quickly that can subsequently be improved. The templates are setup to enable rapid initial simulations, typically with simpleFoam. The initial templates cover simple inflow-outflow and closed domains, including rotating geometry, and an example axisymmetric flow. For more details, consult the README file accompanying each template case. The cases are located in $FOAM_ETC/templates

Description Specify an etc file to include when reading dictionaries, expects a single string to follow. Searches for files from user/group/shipped directories. The search scheme allows for version-specific and version-independent files using the following hierarchy: - \b user settings: - ~/.OpenFOAM/\<VERSION\> - ~/.OpenFOAM/ - \b group (site) settings (when $WM_PROJECT_SITE is set): - $WM_PROJECT_SITE/\<VERSION\> - $WM_PROJECT_SITE - \b group (site) settings (when $WM_PROJECT_SITE is not set): - $WM_PROJECT_INST_DIR/site/\<VERSION\> - $WM_PROJECT_INST_DIR/site/ - \b other (shipped) settings: - $WM_PROJECT_DIR/etc/ An example of the \c \#includeEtc directive: \verbatim #includeEtc "etcFile" \endverbatim The usual expansion of environment variables and other constructs is retained.
